Hannah's headshot

Hannah has dedicated five years to her career as an arborist, achieving ISA arborist certification in 2023. Her passion for tree stewardship and education is evident in her work. As a climbing arborist, she prioritizes safety and the upholding of industry best practices. Hannah has been instrumental in promoting a culture of safety and raising industry standards. Her contributions include competing in the Ontario Tree Climbing competition in 2022 and serving as a technician for the Urban Arborist and Arborist Apprenticeship programs at Humber College for the past two years.

Her enthusiasm for learning about and caring for the vast variety of trees and shrubs in Toronto is matched only by her love for outdoor activities. When not engaged in tree work, Hannah can be found riding her bike around the city, camping, hiking, indulging in small wood carving projects, fishing, and attending live music shows.

Hannah’s favourites among deciduous and coniferous trees are the Quercus alba (white oak) and the Pinus strobus (white pine), respectively.

Her educational background includes an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph in 2016, complemented by a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Humber College. She furthered her expertise with an Arborist Apprenticeship at Humber College in 2022, culminating in ISA Certified Arborist accreditation from the International Society of Arboriculture in 2023.
